  • Rectangular Board

  • Roll a dice to decide number of APs

  • Objects for humans and cats

  • Humans cant move through objects but cat can

  • 2 winning criteria for the cat

    • Destroy all objects

    • Fill up the litter box and pee once on the floor

  • More rules than gameplay

  • The objects were not being used by the human players

  • The number of turns was being decided by dice, this was frustrating for players who continually rolled low

  • The game proceeded slowly

ALPHA VERSION & PLAY TEST NOTES

  • 2 player game now, 1 player controls 3 humans

  • Added walls as “levels” so that players can choose a different board each time

  • Replaced Pee blocks with scribbling on the board with a marker to make peeing more playful

  • Replaced plate with an actual item you can tip over using the cat token

  • Brought back items for humans using the “Power Up” star on the map

NOTES

  • The game is quick, with an average match lasting for 15-20 minutesT

  • Since one player controls all 3 humans, the waiting time has reduced

  • The number of turns needs to be balanced more to cause fun dynamics to happen more often

  • Players chaining “Call” by switching between different humans in the right order

  • Players also chained the “Calls” of 2 humans in the right order with “Touch” of the 3rd human to trap and pet the cat

  • Cats positioning themselves near an object to prevent being distracted

  • Cat approaching a human guarding an object and peeing to cancel their turn

  • Walls with one grid gap causes a problem with players getting stuck in loops
